Legal landfills
The Legal Landfills tool allows you to manage and maintain a list of legally recognized landfills, enabling users to Add, Edit, Delete, and View landfill information.
This tool is essential for ensuring that all waste management operations comply with legal standards by maintaining an accurate record of authorized landfills.
The tool enables users to easily add new landfills, update existing records, and delete obsolete or incorrect landfill data. It also offers a user-friendly interface to view all landfills in the list with detailed information.
Upon logging in, you'll be directed to your Map and you can see the sidebar menu on the left, where after selecting Legal Landfills you can access the following options
Add new legal landfills to the system
- Allows users with the appropriate permissions to add new landfill records to the system
Edit existing landfill information
- Users can modify the details of an existing landfill, such as its name or description
Delete landfills that are no longer legally valid.
- Allows authorized users to remove landfills that are no longer valid or have been decommissioned
View a comprehensive list of all legal landfills with search option

Export to Excel button that allows user to download the legal landfills list with all the informations.
Track Trucks
In the Legal Landfill Trucks section you can manage all trucks associated with your landfill operations. This page allows you to add, edit, and track essential truck information, ensuring smooth operations and regulatory compliance.
Key Features
Add Legal Landfill Truck Button: Click this button to quickly add a new truck to your fleet. Enter all relevant details such as the truck's name, registration, and weight specifications to ensure accurate tracking.
Truck Information List: Here, you'll find a comprehensive list of all trucks currently added to the system. Each truck entry includes
- Name: The truck's name or ID for easy identification.
- Description: A brief overview of the truck, such as model, purpose, or other relevant details.
- Registration: The vehicle registration number for identification.
- Unladen Weight: The weight of the truck without any load.
- Payload Weight: The maximum weight the truck can carry, ensuring load limits are maintained.
- Capacity: The total volume or weight the truck is capable of transporting.
Edit & Delete Options
- Each truck entry features an Edit button, allowing you to update any details if needed, and a Delete button to remove any trucks no longer in service or incorrectly added.
Search Bar
- Quickly find specific trucks by name, registration, or other details using the integrated search functionality.
Export to Excel
- Easily export your truck data to an Excel file for reporting, analysis, or compliance documentation.
Legal Landfill Waste Imports
The Legal Landfill Waste Imports page provides an overview of all waste import and export activities related to legal landfills. This page allows users to view, add, edit, and delete records of waste being brought into or removed from legal landfills.
To streamline the management process, users can filter records based on various criteria such as waste type, date range, truck details, and more. Additionally, users can export the data to Excel for further analysis and reporting.
Add Legal Landfill Waste Import
To add a new waste import entry, simply click the Add Legal Landfill button. This will redirect you to a page where you can enter all the relevant details of the waste import or export such as
- Import/Export: Specify whether the waste is being imported to or exported from the landfill.
- Weight (kg): Enter the total weight of the waste in kilograms.
- Capacity (m³): Specify the total capacity of the truck in cubic meters.
- Truck: Select the truck name from the available list.
- Landfill: Choose the landfill associated with this waste import/export.
- Waste Type: Select the type of waste being handled (e.g., hazardous, non-hazardous, organic, etc.).
You will also find two buttons at the bottom of the page
- Back: Return to the main waste imports list without saving.
- Add: Save the entered details and add the waste import/export record to the list.
The Legal Landfill Waste Imports List displays all waste import/export records with the following information:

In the Actions column, users can
- Edit: Modify the details of an existing record.
- Delete: Remove the record from the list.
Filter Options
To narrow down the list of waste imports, users can apply filters based on specific criteria. The filter options include
- Date From: Select a start date for the records you want to view.
- Date To: Select an end date.
- Waste Type: Filter by the type of waste.
- Truck: Filter by truck name.
- Import/Export: Filter by whether the waste is being imported or exported.
- Landfill: Filter by the specific landfill.
After setting the filters, click the Apply Filter button to view the filtered results.
If you want to reset the filters and view the full list, click the Reset Filters button.
For further reporting or analysis, users can export the entire waste imports list to an Excel file by clicking the Export to Excel button.
This will allow users to work with the data offline or share it with stakeholders.
Track Waste Types
The Legal Landfills Waste Type List tool is designed to be user-friendly, with easy-to-navigate features.
Users can add new waste types to specific landfills by providing necessary information such as the waste type name and description. Editing waste types is straightforward, allowing for updates to waste descriptions or associations with other landfills.
To delete waste types, users must have sufficient permissions, and can do so with a simple click to remove outdated or incorrect entries.
The platform also provides a View All option, allowing users to search the waste types enabling a comprehensive overview of all waste types in the system.

Add new waste Types
- The tool allows users to add new waste types, specifying the types of materials that a particular landfill can accept. This includes a range of waste categories such as organic waste, hazardous waste, recyclable materials, and more. Each waste type can be associated with one or more landfills, allowing for flexible categorization based on the waste management needs.
Edit waste Types
- Users can modify the details of existing waste types, such as changing their names, descriptions, or associations with landfills. This ensures that the waste types are kept up to date, reflecting any changes in landfill operations or regulatory standards.
Delete waste Types
- If a waste type is no longer relevant or accepted by a landfill, users can delete it from the system. This feature helps maintain an accurate and current list of waste types, ensuring that outdated or irrelevant information is removed.
View All waste Types
- The tool provides users with the ability to view all waste types. A comprehensive list can be filtered and searched by waste type name or description. This makes it easy for users to quickly find and review the waste types they need to manage.
